Yokohama GRITS Junior are a junior ice hockey team based in Shin-Yokohama.

We are a co-ed team with 5yo – 15yo (up to Grade 9) players. We practice 2 days a week mainly at KOSÉ Shin-Yokohama Skate Center.

We have English speaking coaches and parents to assist non-Japanese speaking families. Feel free to contact us in English for more information or for a free trial session.

The team’s name is new since April 2025 after partnership with Yokohama GRITS, an Asia League Ice Hockey professional team, but the team carries over 50 years of heritage.

The parent coaches are assisted by Yuji Iwamoto, the current head coach for the Yokohama GRITS (pro), who plays the General Head Coach role for our team.
